1. Prioritizing Spiritual Growth: I understand that my personal journey with Jesus is paramount and supersedes any skill or contribution I may offer. While I value honing my skills and abilities, I recognize that nurturing my heart, character, and faith should be my primary focus.

2. Support for the Vision of Volunteer Park Church: I agree to support the vision for Volunteer Park Church and the VPC Worship Team, even if that means setting aside personal preference.

3. Respectful Treatment of Others: I commit to treating every individual I encounter at VPC with kindness and respect, recognizing that each person reflects the image of God. I will communicate with gentleness and avoid aggression, sarcasm, or gossip in any form.

4. Commitment to Excellence and Punctuality: I pledge to bring my best to every service opportunity, recognizing that God deserves nothing less than excellence. I will prioritize punctuality by arriving on time for all required team events, meetings, and programs, knowing the impact it has on my larger community. 

5. Engagement with the Church Community: I understand the importance of my role as a leader at VPC and commit to engaging with the church community outside of just my volunteer role (being accessible between services, serving in other ministries, etc.). In order to lead this community, I have to first know my community. 

6. Conduct Outside of Church: I acknowledge that my actions reflect not only on VPC but also on the broader Seventh-day Adventist church and the kingdom of God. I will strive to uphold values consistent with our shared faith and values in all aspects of my life and be mindful of the platform that I hold as a volunteer at VPC. 

I understand that any failure to follow these principles will first be addressed through further discussion, after which a decision regarding the continuation of my volunteer position at VPC may be made.
