ONGOING SERVICE opportunities

Service is the fruit of experiencing the goodness of God and being rooted in the soil of community. We have opportunities for all to serve at VPC. Read about the service opportunities, then click the button to fill out an interest form.

  • VPC Groups are smaller communities within VPC that gather around scripture, prayer, a meal, an activity, or a shared interest. Feeling called to lead a VPC Group? Click here.

  • Join the rotation of volunteers who arrive early to unlock doors, set up tables and chairs for Bible Study and lunch, turn on heaters, and prepare the facility for Sabbath worship.

  • Join the rotation of volunteers who welcome members and guests at VPC’s front doors. Help create a warm environment for visitors.

  • Join the VPC Café team who hosts and serves coffee, drinks, and snacks in the morning. This a fun and meaningful opportunity to help friends and guests build community before Worship Gathering.

  • Ages 0–4: Join the rotation of teachers who lead weekly class for our babies and toddlers.

Ages 5–7: Join the Kindergarten team and help teach a weekly class.

Ages 8–12: Help us organize and start a class for older kids.

Ages 13–18: Join the Teens team and help teach a weekly class.

Because safety is our priority, we require all volunteers to go through a background check in order to serve.

  • The VPC Worship team aims to help people experience God and love others through the use of music in Worship Gatherings. You can participate as a musician, vocalist, or sound system volunteer. (Friday evening and Saturday morning commitment required)

  • Join the team who helps create a smooth worship experience through visuals, sound, and livestream.

  • Join the rotation of volunteers who plan meals and cook for All Church Lunch. (Volunteers are reimbursed for food purchases.)

  • Partner with us to serve our local public elementary school, Lowell Elementary.

Every year, we serve in various ways, including back-to-school prep, breakfasts, food drives, toy drives, and more. Click here to learn more.
