Prayer, fasting, & anointing
At VPC, we want to create a shared spiritual rhythm that helps us make space for God, anchor ourselves in prayer, and grow missionally as a community. Join us in our monthly prayer rhythm. Each month, our church family will focus on Praying for a specific theme, Fasting from the distractions of life, and Anointing those who need prayer during our Worship Gatherings.
NOVEMBER
Focus: Gratitude and Generosity
Prayer: Pray for grateful hearts and open hands — that generosity would shape our homes, our church, and our witness.
Fast: Fast from excess and unnecessary spending to practice simplicity and use what you save to bless others or support kingdom work.
Anointing: Nov. 18 Worship Gathering: We’ll share testimonies of how God is working through this fast.
Weekly prayer gathering
Prayer is the life of the church and the breath of the spiritual life. We gather every Wednesday at 7:00pm to place our trust and needs in the hands of God. We believe that communal prayer marked by faith shapes history. Join us on Wednesdays.

There are many ways to love one’s neighbor. We believe that intercessory prayer — praying on behalf of other people — is a gift God has granted to His church. Whether as the recipient of prayer, or the one praying, we believe that prayer changes everything. Each request we receive is prayed for; we welcome updates so that we might rejoice together as we see the goodness of God in action.
